Bio
Sriharsha Majety is the Co-Founder and CEO at Swiggy. Prior to Swiggy, he co-founded Bundl and also worked as an Associate at Nomura International’s offices in India and London.
Sriharsha holds an MBA (finance) from IIM Kolkata and an M Sc in Physics and a BE in Electrical and Electronics engineering, both from BITS, Pilani.
The Swiggy Story
After graduating from IIM-K, Sriharsha spent a couple of years at the rates trading desk at Nomura International. Not quite content in the banking word, he moved back to India in 2011 to launch his own venture.
He partnered with his batchmate Nandan Reddy and came up with Bundl - a startup aimed to bridge the gap in the e-commerce fulfilment space for players like Amazon, Flipkart and eBay. By the time they rolled out their services, though, most major e-commerce companies were handling their own shipping - forcing Bundl to come to a halt.
Sriharsha quickly pivoted to hospitality, offering logistics and delivery services to restaurants through Swiggy. What put them at an advantage from the start was that they used their own fleet instead of relying on third-party riders - a move that paid off. Today, Swiggy is one of the most popular food delivery and concierge apps in India.

With an assumed 5% holding in the company, Sriharsha’s net worth is estimated at INR 1400 crores. His salary remains undisclosed.
